Kicking Off The 2015 Campaign
Bright and early today we kicked off the United Way of Thunder Bay Fall Campaign! Over 400 guests attended the sold-out event to show their support and to see the reveal of the community goal, which is $2,662,669.
2015 Campaign Chair Jim Madder says “The goal we have set is not just a number, it is possibility. Achieving this goal will make it possible for local kids to have brighter futures, for those who are struggling to be connected with the supports they need, and for our community to become a stronger, more vibrant place for all who live here. With your support, the possibility is endless!”.
There are many people in our community that will find themselves in need of help this year. They may even be your coworkers, friends, family, or neighbours. But behind each person in need of help, there are also many people who can GIVE help and that is what the United Way is asking you to do; to make a generous donation to improve local lives. Together we can make a strong, connected community. Together we are possibility!
Donations can be made through your Employee Payroll Campaign, by cash, cheque, credit or direct debit as well as securely online at www.uwaytbay.ca or in person at: 1006-715 Hewitson Street.
