1 in 7 individuals struggle to get period products. They are the least donated YET most requested item at Foodbanks. Be part of the SOLUTION to help end PERIOD POVERTY in our community.

We will be collecting menstrual hygiene products at the following locations:

• Sleeping Giant Brewing Company 712 Macdonell St
• United Way Thunder Bay 1006-715 Hewitson St
• Shout Media #204-37 S. Cumberland St
• Carol’s Cakes 110 Waterloo St. S
• RBC Branches

OPP detachments will be collecting product to be distributed to local food banks in N.W.O Region as part of a United Way Of Thunder Bay initiative.

Three Easy Ways to Get Involved

1. Make a financial donation OR by calling the United Way office at 807-623-6420
2. Start a collection drive at your workplace in support of United Way between March 1 -15,2023. We can supply you with posters and messaging. All products collected will be picked up no later than March 30, 2023, or can be dropped of at the United Way office upon collection drive completion.
3. Purchase a box (or two) of products the next time you are at the grocery store or pharmacy and drop it off at one of our community locations or your closest regional OPP detachment.
