The GenNext Take Home TBay campaign will feature a variety of partnerships with various local businesses throughout 2021 to offer a product or experience that will engage and support our local community. Take Home TBay aims to support local businesses while simultaneously making an impact for a better tomorrow with a portion of all proceeds being donated back to the community through the United Way.
These experiences will happen every other month, and will range from a fun family/couple’s paint night where you can showcase your creativity with loved ones, a home cooking kit to prepare a delicious home cooked meal, or even a game night kit to bring out some competition and fun amongst players!

June ‘Dessert Days’ Edition:
GenNext & Rainbow Collective are excited to team up together to bring our community ‘Take Home TBay – Dessert Days’ which will take place from June 4 to 13.
We have partnered with 11 local bakeries and restaurants who will be offering tasty, sweet treats in support of our community. They have created a selection of eye-catching, yummy desserts that feature and celebrate Pride, Inclusivity, Diversity, and Love.
We are inviting people of Thunder Bay to support local and have fun while trying each location’s mouth-watering dessert!! For every Dessert Days treat sold, $1 will be donated back to the United Way of Thunder Bay and Rainbow Collective.
All funds raised will support meeting the immediate needs of local individuals, families, and children through United Way of Thunder Bay, by providing access to supports such as food, housing, clothing, transportation, and crisis counselling. By partnering with Rainbow Collective Thunder Bay, Dessert Days also generates important funds to the organization’s Community Grant Program. The low barrier micro-grants support the Gender and Sexual Diversity Community by donating supplies such as gender-affirming gear, funding art and support group projects and supporting basic needs such as groceries.
