The United Way of Thunder Bay, RFDA, and Dew Drop Inn  want YOU to ‘Get Fired Up Against Hunger‘ at our CommUNITY B.B.Q on July 22, 2021 in order to help people, children, and families who need support.

This event is proudly presented by Superior Hearing Centre and Port Arthur Rotary Club!

There is power in unity. We can only accomplish so much on our own, but together we can create a movement that brings tangible change and creates a future of hope. With people, children, and families struggling, community collaboration and partnerships are more important than ever before.

United Way of Thunder Bay, Regional Food Distribution Association, and the Dew Drop Inn are excited to team up and collaborate on a Summer CommUNITY B.B.Q to support our local community, open to the public, on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Community members will be invited to visit the RFDA (570 Syndicate Ave S.) to pick up or purchase their favourite B.B.Q. items, with all proceeds being donated back to UWTB, RFDA, and DDI.

Pre-order online or walk up and order on the spot. We will be offering a wide variety of menu items available for purchase including regular burgers, bison burgers, hotdogs, DDI’s famous dewie dogs, french fries, chips, drinks and more!

We will have two tables / lines – one for pre-order pick up and one for walk up orders.

We will also be featuring an on-site raffle where YOU can have the chance to WIN items like a brand new BBQ from Canadian Tire, a Heartbeat Fan Bundle from Heartbeat Hot Sauce, a Leather Wine Kit from Little Doo’s Farm, and a brand new Samsung Tablet from TBXI Xerox! *You do not have to be in attendance to win.

**We are offering a ‘PAY IT FORWARD’ option!! PAY IT FORWARD by donating $10 per meal and we’ll donate a hot dog or hamburger meal to children and youth in need from the Simpson/Odgen area. It’s simple, just enter a DONATION AMOUNT in the DONATION SECTION on the purchase website before checking out. For donations of $20 or more, you’ll receive an automatic tax receipt via email.**
