The last couple of weeks have been overwhelming for the entire community. We all know someone out of a job, working the frontlines, or in need. In the midst of all of this, we must continue to remember the local organizations and agencies that are a lifeline to thousands of people in Thunder Bay.
The Thunder Bay COVID-19 Community Relief Fund continues to increase with daily community contributions. With your help, the collaborative fund that was created with the intent of immediate relief for frontline non-profit organizations and agencies, addressing urgent community needs during the pandemic, has grown to $229,000!!
Your donations are making a difference. You are helping these agencies respond to the crisis. Through the Thunder Bay COVID-19 Community Relief Fund, United Way Thunder Bay and the Thunder Bay Community Foundation have already provided $106,306.50 to six local service providers that are working tirelessly tirelessly to provide food, shelter and comfort to those in need.
