Beat The Winter Blues At The Big Freeze

Winter’s not all that bad when you have awesome local events like The Big Freeze! Once again, United Way of Thunder Bay’s GenNext has partnered with Redwood Park Church to bring this fun-filled day of fresh air to you and your family! Proudly supported by Mount Baldy Ski Area and LiUNA 607, this event gives individuals and families alike a chance to ski, snowboard, and tube for only $15 on Friday, March 15th; you can event rent equipment for $10. Did we mention that kids five years old and under are free? It’s a great opportunity to get out on the hills again or maybe try it out for the very first time, all while supporting two great community organizations.

Come see us at Mount Badly on March 15 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tickets are available in advance at the United Way of Thunder Bay and Redwood Park Church, or at Mount Baldy the day of the event. There will also be other activities taking place including raffles, a bonfire, a kids’ zone with competitions and prizes throughout the day, hot chocolate, and much more!
