Sandra Lachapelle has been involved with United Way and GenNext over the last year. In 2017, she joined TD Bank’s GenNext Workplace Team as one of the leads for the Greater Ontario region, where they organize events within the bank to bring awareness to their employees about United Way, and then she also joined the local United Way’s GenNext Cabinet in 2018.
Being somewhat new to Thunder Bay, Sandra joined GenNext to expand her network by connecting with other like-minded young professionals that are passionate about being involved in their community and making a difference.
Currently, Sandra works as a Branch Manager with TD Bank. There she manages a team of employees who are passionate about helping their clients meet their financial needs. The work they do is helping clients reach their goals and achieve their dreams.
Sandra’s employer puts tremendous value on volunteering and community engagement. Through her employer, she has had the opportunity to volunteer with many organizations like TD Friend of the Environment, the United Way of Thunder Bay, and Shelter House Thunder Bay.
A fun fact about Sandra is that although she may not look like the ‘poster image’, she describes herself as a big nerd! She loves to play World of Warcraft, and she has owned two bearded dragons – Yoshy and Khaleesy.
