High School Challenge
It's time, once again, for the United Way of Thunder Bay's High School Challenge! High school students across the city race against time and each other to raise money for the United Way's Youth 4 Community Program! Throughout the month of November, students are encouraged to host bake sales, dress down days, coin collections, and anything else they can think of (as long as their principle approves!).
At the end of the Challenge period the top 2 schools who raised the most per student each win an awesome, official Energy 103/104 Dance Party! That includes music by 2 Tone Music Productions, prizes from McDonalds, and Energy 103/104 live on location!
Where does the money go?
Funds raised exclusively support youth programs and services in our community! Not only do the schools raise the money, they get to decide where the money goes. Student representatives will review funding proposals from community organizations and decide, as a group, where 100% of the funds they raised go through the United Way Youth 4 Community Program and United Way Youth Granting Committee.
